HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I BEEN LOVER AND HATER
EVERYBODY JUST SEEMS LIKE A STRANGER
SO MISLED
SOONER OR LATER I’LL BE COLD AND DEAD
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN IT CAME DOWN TO
WAS THERE A SPACE IN TIME WHERE I HAVE BOUND YOU
SO MISLED
SOONER OR LATER I’LL BE COLD AND DEAD
ALL MY FRAGMENTS RETURN
NO MORE SHATTERED SOULS
LET THE HEARTS UNIFY
TO MAKE ME WHOLE AGAIN
CAN’T YOU SEE
I’M NOT WILLING TO BE THE VICTIM IN THIS PLAY
MY WOUNDS THEY ALL GONNA BE
JUST A SYMPTOM IN THIS FRAY
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I BEEN WINNER AND LOSER
SOMETIMES GIVER, MOST TIMES ABUSER
SO MISLED
SOONER OR LATER I’LL BE COLD AND DEAD
I STEER MY SELF INTO CONTRADICTION
SEPARATED WE ONLY FIND OBLIVION
SO MISLED
SOONER OR LATER I’LL BE COLD AND DEAD
ALL MY FRAGMENTS RETURN
NO MORE SHATTERED SOULS
LET THE HEARTS UNIFY
TO MAKE ME WHOLE
AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN
WE WON’T HEAL WITH ACTS OF RETRIBUTION
BUT IF I HELP YOU TO REGAIN HUMANITY
I TOO CAN BE HUMAN AGAIN
ALL MY FRAGMENTS RETURN
NO MORE SHATTERED SOULS
LET THE HEARTS UNIFY
TO MAKE ME WHOLE
AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN
SPLIT, ERASE, CONSUME THIS LIFE
MY HEART’S INSEPARABLE
SPLIT, ERASE, CONSUME THIS LIFE

Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ
From riffs and production to hooks and breakdowns, the Canadian metalcore veterans' seventh album ups the ante in every way. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 5, 2022
Sharptooth fight bigotry with melodic hardcore, their breakdowns an ideal vehicle for singer Lauren Kashan's incendiary insights. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 15, 2020

Realistically, I should have bought this album after the first 100 scrobbles of In Reach (Out of Touch), but it's never too late to do the right thing. This has a different atmosphere (and story) than The Lost City, but it's just as good and just as melodic. porcelainheart-
